Although this was spawned before the Shadytel Coordinated Dialing plan and isn't a sibling/descendeant/whatever, this is how a good portion of the SCDP members peer. Why? Because this allows members to peer using eclectic telephony equipment that is not very NAT and/or Internet facing (aka, vulns) friendly.
Below is a basic table to help keep track of who's using what. If you do not have an official ASN from ARIN (most of us do not), please pick unused ASNs within the 16 bit private space (64512 - 65534).
